About Us

Location:
Oregon Coast, 14 miles north of Tillamook, Oregon on Hwy 101

Setting:
This facility is set between a fresh water lake on its east side offering environmental exploration and aquatic recreation and the relaxing beauty of a sandy Oregon beach to the west.

Features:
Camp Magruder is a special place for children, youth, and adults. It has preserved the wetlands and sand dunes around the facility so that everyone may study, learn, and enjoy the natural habitat. Primary activities include a big swing, boating, swimming, volleyball, basketball, and low elements ropes course. There are many inside and outside environments for worship, personal meditation, and group discussion.

Facility:
This 146-acre facility can accommodate a variety of programming needs. For groups of 15 to 250 people, Camp Magruder offers the perfect combination of experiential learning, community building, and recreation.

Site Reservations:

Volunteer:
The Oregon-Idaho camping ministry has been built on volunteer service. We all have been given gifts to share for the Body of Christ. What can you do?

Magruder Food Service Changes:
In an effort to support local growers, earth sustainability, and health, Magruder food service now features menus with local/organic/sustainable produce whenever possible, whole grains, no trans fats, and continued emphasis on homemade, from-scratch cooking.

Special Dietary Needs:
When communicated in advance, we generally can provide menu items that will accommodate diabetic, vegetarian, gluten-free, lactose intolerant, and vegan needs.  Outside of these, we need you to bring the special food items you require.
We are happy to be in relationship with you and try our best to accommodate! Please communicate any food allergies or dietary considerations directly with the site.
