This event is slightly abbreviated version of the the full Summer Camp for those who prefer a shorter time away from home.
Throughout the week, they are given options of activities to try. Activities include swimming, boating, crafts, cook-outs, field games, hiking, archery, tie-dye, campfires, and more. As a group, they practice their decision-making skills to arrive at decisions together. At the end of the week, they are given options to keep trying new things or to revisit their favorite activities.
Through this experience, campers learn, explore, and grow in faith. They experience God’s love through the beauty of creation and the relationships they build with new friends and caring mentors. They don’t just have fun, but also learn the kinds of skills and values that will carry them forward through life. After attending this Intro session, campers won’t be able to wait to come back for more!
